SENIOR TRADE TESTED AIRCONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

  • Trade test refrigeration/air-conditioning (REFRIGERATION MECHANIC – INDUSTRIAL)
  • Driver’s license
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in air-conditioning AND refrigeration
  • Presentable appearance and sober habits
  • Excellent timekeeping skills
  • No criminal record
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work and train others
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • A working understanding of electrical DBs and wiring
  • Heat pumps
  • Splits, cassettes, hideaways, fan coil units, AHUs, VRV/VRF and ducted systems
  • Simplex, multiplex and stand-alone refrigeration freezers and fridges
  • Cold rooms and freezer rooms
  • Chillers, thermal storage tanks and cooling towers
  • Liaising with customers
  • Fault finding and carrying out repairs and installations to all types, makes and models of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including the abovementioned equipment
  • Customer liaison
  • Overseeing and training assistant/apprentice
  • Compilation of data and comprehensively reporting faults and compiling information for quoting purposes
